BlackBerry 8820 headed to AT&T.

It seems as though AT&T is becoming one of the major leaders in offering us all the must have phones. First it was the iPhone that had us drooling for 6 months and now we're presented the BlackBerry 8820. Keep in mind that this isn't just a normal BlackBerry but it's the first BlackBerry to be equipped with WiFi which is what many of us have longed for ever since the introduction of all the newer style BlackBerry's. The 8820 will come equipped with EDGE data, a memory card capacity of about 32GB, UMA, bluetooth, and the ability to switch from GSM to WiFi without any hiccups.

Details on the exact release date are vague and we're anticipating that the BlackBerry 8820 will probably reach T-Mobile users as well since it is GSM based and since BlackBerry has always been good to both carriers. Ill keep you posted with the exact release date when it becomes available.

Apple iPhone released!!!!!

The day everyone has been waiting was last Friday when the Apple iPhone was finally released for all Cingular subscribers. The lines started forming the night before and blogs were constantly updated with information regarding the launch and at 6 P.M everyone had their prayers answered and the iPhone finally went on sale. The initial review for the iPhone was positive with many bloggers stating that the phone was good but not great , which we all pretty much expected from all the hype that surrounded the phone. The iPhone soon took the cellular industry by storm by selling close to 500,000 units in its first 48, which is remarkable considering it is just a cellphone. So now we can all go back to our normal lives since the iPhone is finally something we can all purchase if we have the funds to do so that is.
