AT&T's "Fewest Dropped Calls" Campaign Gets Dropped

Due to increasing numbers of unsatisfied AT&T wireless customers, not to mention the seemingly inescapable dropped call problems that plague the AT&T network, AT&T has finally officially ended their "Fewest Dropped Calls" promotional campaign. Clearly, this slogan hasn't been working very well for them. According to ratings provided by JD Power, T-Mobile currently has the fewest dropped calls in most markets, pushing AT&T further behind in the race. This announcement isn't going to make your cell phone reception any stronger, but at least we know that AT&T is aware that they have some improving to do.

BlackBerry 8820 headed to AT&T.

It seems as though AT&T is becoming one of the major leaders in offering us all the must have phones. First it was the iPhone that had us drooling for 6 months and now we're presented the BlackBerry 8820. Keep in mind that this isn't just a normal BlackBerry but it's the first BlackBerry to be equipped with WiFi which is what many of us have longed for ever since the introduction of all the newer style BlackBerry's. The 8820 will come equipped with EDGE data, a memory card capacity of about 32GB, UMA, bluetooth, and the ability to switch from GSM to WiFi without any hiccups.

Details on the exact release date are vague and we're anticipating that the BlackBerry 8820 will probably reach T-Mobile users as well since it is GSM based and since BlackBerry has always been good to both carriers. Ill keep you posted with the exact release date when it becomes available.

Cheers,

John

Apple iPhone released!!!!!

The day everyone has been waiting was last Friday when the Apple iPhone was finally released for all Cingular subscribers. The lines started forming the night before and blogs were constantly updated with information regarding the launch and at 6 P.M everyone had their prayers answered and the iPhone finally went on sale. The initial review for the iPhone was positive with many bloggers stating that the phone was good but not great , which we all pretty much expected from all the hype that surrounded the phone. The iPhone soon took the cellular industry by storm by selling close to 500,000 units in its first 48, which is remarkable considering it is just a cellphone. So now we can all go back to our normal lives since the iPhone is finally something we can all purchase if we have the funds to do so that is. Check back at AccessoryGeeks.com for all your Apple iPhone needs.

Official Apple iPhone release time.

In recent press, it has been stated that the At&t iPhone will be available for sale on June 29,2007 at exactly 6 P.M. your local time. This new way of dropping a phone at a specific time according to region is showing us just how dominate Apple is with their marketing. Not only are they having all of us on the edge of our seats for this phone but Apple is controlling the exact time the phone will drop, which is insane. The iPhone is basically on everyone's wish list with it's unique and innnovative design but many of us are waiting to see if the iPhone will actually live up to expectations or not. I guess only time will tell but do check back at AccessoryGeeks.com for all accessories for the At&t Apple iPhone.

iPhone release date announced.

The moment we've all been waiting for is finally almost here. At&t, along with Apple, have announced that the official release date for the Apple iPhone will be June 29th. That's huge news for the few of us who have been anxiously waiting for the arrival of the iPhone. The phone itself will only be sold on a first come first serve basis which will only add to the pandemonium that is known as iPhone. The iPhone will be available for users in a 4gb and 8gb size and will be a full touch screen phone utilizing the Apple os X operating system. What draws many of us to the iPhone is the fact that it is a combination of an iPod, a cell phone, and an Internet device which many of us have been craving for the past few years. It's only a matter of time before the phone is released and accessories should be available at AccessoryGeeks.com in no time so check back soon.

Pantech C150 confirmed for At&t (Cingular)

Pantech has released information on what seems to be an updated version of their Pantech C120 phone. The Pantech C150, which is pretty much an updated C120, will be equipped with features such as bluetooth and video capture, all of which weren't available on the C120. THe phone itself will be slimmer and lighter and will probably look almost identical to the C120, so don't expect a ferrari from a toyota. The few things I would've loved to see be added would've been stereo bluetooth and an expandable microSD memory card slot since that is becoming the industry standard in alot of these newly released "updated" models of previous phones. This phone has yet to be released so I will give my initial review when it hits the market, but till then check back at AccessoryGeeks.com for all accessories as they become available for the phone.

Samsung Blowout

As of May 23, 2007, Cingular is offering tremendious savings on their full Samsung line-up. I'm not to sure as to how long this promotion has been up but it offers great deals on some flagship Samsung phones offered by Cingular. The Samsung Blackjack for example, usually runs about $299 retail and $229 with a 2 year contract. That price is now slashed to $74.99 with its online discount, that's a huge saving for such a great phone, espically one that has a bag full of accessories at AccessoryGeeks.com.
Other phones on sale include; Samsung Sync and the Samsung C417.

Cheers,

John

Cingular Drops Prices

As the market changes daily, it's not a surprise to notice the rise and fall of mobile phones to either compensate for losses or to capitalize on gains. Cingular has recent raised and lowered their prices on a majority of their popular phones to either stimulate more customers to join their networks or to tempt existing customers to upgrade phones and thus tacking on an extra two years to their contract.

The most notable model in Cingulars lineup to get the biggest drop in price would be the Cingular 8125 which has dropped down at least $100. The next to follow would be their popular smart phone the Samsung Blackjack which dropped about $50. This move could prove useful for Cingular since the PDA/Smartphone industry is on the rise and by making their phones more affordable they capitalize on those individuals who are looking for a good network with a good/cheap PDA/Smartphone. Other noticeable drops in prices included the Sony Ericsson W300i which dropped $10, the Razr V3xx was up $10, and the LG CU500 was lowered $20. With all these savings on phones stop by AccessoryGeeks.com and pick up some accessories for your phone.
Prices report was obtained between April 2-9, Please check with your carrier to see if the prices are still correct.
Cheers,
John

Cingular Wireless ATT still number 2.

Numbers are out for Quarter 1 of 2007. According to RCR news, AT&T (Cingular) added net addition of 1.2 million subscribers during the period. By adding 1.2 net addition, Cingular, or AT&T still trails Verizon wireless for number 1 spot on number of subscriber. During the same period, Verizon Wireless added 1.7 million net addition. That's a lot of people... Cingular, new AT&T's roll over plans are still hot and sensible plan for many people. We will wait until Q2 result comes out. With Apple iPhone, we will see how much more Cingular can add to their number. As always, buy Cingular accessories from Accessorygeeks.com.

Cingular Wireless, now, ATT

Now AT&T, previously Cingular, Pacific Bell, AT&T and who knows whatelse, again now "AT&T". I will share my thoughts on AT&T or I would like to call it CINGULAR on this blog. As always, buy zipweb., or AT&T Accessories at Accessorygeeks.com.
